Aside from the incident in Austin over the weekend it seems like the violence has been a one sided affair and the response to these types thus far has been quite restrained....I can think of a number pleasantries that could be put to good use should the need arise.

Was watching Barr's testimony and couldn't help but wonder why he didn't point out that during the (armed) lockdown protests, the protesters were not violent rioters.

ie and armed society is a polite society.

Because republicans are stupid and do not traditionally think well on their feet.

In a similar situation, a democrat would have simply accused someone of being a racist or scolded them for caring about money more than the lives of innocent children.

If that didn't work, they'd have simply become indignant and shouted, "What difference at this point does it make"

Nuance my friend - political nuance.
