We are outnumbered by the Idiocracy.
Hillary will be our next president.
...or a democrat masked as a republican.

Way too early. Let's see how many catch the foot-in-mouth disease or vapor lock in the debates.

Trump is probably the only person on the planet who can say "I" in a single sentence more than BO. That said, he can really stir things up. Carly would be good in the debates if they don't find a way to exclude her, and they will. She and The Donald have nothing to lose. But, I agree with Joker on the "foot-in-mouth disease ". I imagine that Trump will catch it first.

Yeah.......

President Reagan had a few years "experience" on young Teddy..... What's he like 23?

Sorry Charlie I'll take age and experience over "smarts" everyday. That said there's no one in that group I'd vote for.....

I just don't know how genuine Trump is about entering this race.

I would classify him as more of a circus promoter( a very successful one) than a traditional entrepreneur.

I say that due to the fact he's mostly a real estate promoter rather than developer. I classify entrepreneurs as those who've created new and truly tangible(rather than intangile) wealth.

He gains so much for his personal brand(putting his name on real estate for %/$ with others doing the heavy lifting) with all the free publicity.

And he faces great risk in having his brand tarnished when scrutiny comes too close and sharp.

I would imagine Trump would be quick to bail out(once he's maximized his name in the headlines for personal brand gain) and maybe throw support behind another candidate.

He's not the kind of person I would want to either conduct business with, socialize with, or lead the free world.

-----

I want to like Carly Fiorina.......I like her take on things with her recent increased political profile.....my concerns lie around her performance as the leader of HP during the tech boom. Her performance as CEO seriously lagged her S&P/NASDAQ peers.

HP stock soared upon her cloudy departure. Not a sign of good(or even mediocre) corporate leadership.

In having said that.....she'd still be a miracle/godsend compared to an alternative along the lines of Hillary Clinton.

-----

From outside the US(not that it matters), a repeat of a Bush/Clinton dynastic race would be comical fodder with enough hypocrisy to last 3 terms, if the Constitution were changed to allow a 3rd term that is.

his stand on gun control is irrelevant IMHO. That is an issue that is solely decided by congress. Maybe it pulls more left-leaning voters, which is IMO, a good thing.

I am going to vote for whoever the Republicans nominate. I have never voted for a democrat in my life, not even JFK in my 6th Grade class straw vote. I was devastated when my teacher voted for JFK.

I'm done with that line of thinking. The GOP has fielded some serious idiots in their day and this nation is still paying for it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger as gov of calif? Nominate an individual with the IQ of a fucking dust mite?

Good luck in 2016. This "country" is going to need it.

Not sure what you mean by that when millions are not allowed to defend themselves due to state and local gun bans/controls.

We voted

We voted a Republican majority the last two elections and what did it get us?

Bonehead and Weasel who can't do enough for big business and banks fast enough.

This Fast track crap is going to be laid at the feet of Republicans once it's published and people get a look at it.

The party of evil or the party of stupid...not a dime's bit of difference between the two. Republicans talk a good game, but vote Democrat. I'm with TS on this one. If the Republicans nominate another establishment candidate I'm staying home.

It's way too early to pay attention anyway. I'm puting myself on a news blackout until about a month prior to the elections to prevent a lot of headaches.

Anyone catch Ted Cruz on Fox tonight?

Crushed it. Every question, the man had an answer for. Not a democrat or republican answer, but a common sense answer.

We need this man as our leader.

I can honestly say that I haven't been excited about voting in 15 years, but I am coming around this time. I hope that a lot of Americans are feeling the same thing.

Missed it, but he is the real deal.

OK, I don't want to go too crazy here, but I'd really appreciate if people who like Ted would donate a few bucks here: https://donate.tedcruz.org/c/FBCA0007

There is an important reporting deadline on June 30, and every dollar counts. $5 and $10 donations are totally worthwhile and helpful.

If we're gonna get a peaceful regime change, we've gotta get the man some money to get his message out.
