For years I've used ZDNet's Password Pro 32 (free) and love it. The problem is the "32" in it's name, it only works on 32 bit systems. I have KeePass (free) on my 64 bit laptop, but don't like it as much as Password Pro.

In my opinion you cant beat keepass. I would not trust my passwords to any non open sourced software. Too much potential for vulnerability. There is a reason a majority of respected security tools are open source.

Password Safe.
It's open source and was designed by Bruce Schneier. Schneier is one of the top names in cryptography.
It does everything I've wanted. It stores usernames, passwords, URLs, email addresses and random items associated with the record. It allows you to browse to the URL from the password record and drag/drop the username/password into the login fields. It has agents for PC, Mac, Android, and iPhone.

Another vote for KeePass. Not saying it is the best, but I haven't been able to mess it up.

In the same vain..
At home I'm 85-90 % on my win xp pro box,
using the ipad & iphone for msg, phone, & face time..
I rarely use IOS apps.
BUT on the road, I'm 100% IOS toys.
Looks like there are several versions of KEEPASS that will work on each, BUT
Is there one version of KEEPASS that sync's your PW's on the IOS & XP machines??
Or is there another one that does??
Thanks for the replies..

keepass is super modular. i personally do not use it on my phone but i'm sure there is a way to configure it. it will require some third party application to sync with the phone. just make sure its legit since open source can sometimes be a double edged sword. especially with phone security not being super hot these days.
