Turkey becomes first nation to block Google DNS

Turkey becomes first nation to block Google DNS, claims Twitter is groveling at its feet.

For anyone not watching what has been going on in Turkey and you're in 10th Group I would get an update.

For anyone that doesn't know, Turkey is imploding due to a corrupt leader and central government. Gee that sounds familiar. Well because of what happened with the "Arab Spring" countries are cutting means to communicate. Twitter was cut off 3-4 days ago, so now they shut down the Google DNS, which is a different IP service for API Twitter posting service. Very effective way to communicate when your Internet is pulled.

Take a computer, install BIND, run the named daemon, and run your own DNS cache server setting the timeout period for refresh to 360 days, and issue is worked around.

My post isn't real about the Turkish Internet users learned how to change the DNS settings on their computer or smartphones to use cache DNS or Google DSN 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. One can say the Turkish Internet users next move will be the usage of VPN services and the Tor anonymizing network when their DSNs and laptops have been hacked by their Government. For me this is a means of the Turkish Government controlling their population by "turning off" a means of communications between elements.
