4,000 Lumen IR Light
I sit in meetings these days....one had my interest as a piece of kit that may be of value to our guys in the box...
Salesman said the light was 4,000 lumens (he showed a pretty bright light...but I don't have a calibrated eye-ball).
It's designed for Crew-Served Weapons (240B, 50 cal, etc)...supposed to be great for a vehicle mount...can be battery operated. Size was manageable...though not ideal for a carbine (yet). It's waterproof to 66 feet.
Wondering if anybody's looking for something like this?
It's not cheap...complete kit with batteries, charger, weapons mount, pressure switch and hard case is ~$5,400.
When I get the details will forward...he's supposed to head to Ft Bragg sometime in March...will pass on his name if you're interested

Sounds like the Surefire Hellfighter. Or a copy.

I'd want it on my turret 50 Cal, M249 or Grenade Launcher...
They are making a smaller version eventually for the M4 and M9.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I don't get anything for this. I met the owner/founder/inventor while working in my capacity as a Congressional Fellow. I think it's a great piece of gear that our guys could use. If you think so, have your Battalion or Group S4 (ideally USASFC G4/G7) contact Night Operations Systems.
Here's the ordering info:
