Navy Boot Camp

I have a member of my family attending Navy Boot Camp, appears for the first time in recent memory an entire Division (class) failed the Battle Stations capstone exercise. After making a couple of internal Navy jokes, it occurred to me how ballsy of a decision this really was and a good sign based on what the services have endured over the last 8-10 years. I am sure the immediate hands on cadre will get sacked and the inquiries as to what failed will be painful, but what a powerful lesson this will be to the kids who were part of this division. In real life the ship would have sank, what this cost was just a do-over and presented the Navy a good opportunity to review the training and leadership standards at Great Lakes.

Wow, interesting; thanks. I'm surprised they even let that out. Sounds like a shift in the Earth's plates.
