NDD - thanks for posting the pics and writeup - much appreciated. glad you like 'em. ken at EMDOM is great to collaborate with and i'm pleased with how they turned out.

Thanks for your great work on these MM.

I added to post 28. There is a hook and loop tab that can be used or left off at the wearer's discretion. The belt I used only has it at two places, so I sort of forgot about them.

This is a very lightweight and low profile set up. I highly recommend them.

Have you worn them under a vest yet?

I'm wondering if the snap on the back is going to dig in when it's getting pressed into your back under a plate.

Not yet, and now it will be two weeks. I'll let you know as soon as I do. I don't foresee any problems.

geronimo - it's actually a rivet in the back, not a snap, so it's not as thick as a snap would be. it sits between depression running between the muscles on your back and under normal use, i can't feel it. it's definitely lower profile than most plastic dividers i've seen. sewing the X in the back provides the lowest profile, but doesn't allow the angle to change.
