That's what radios are for. Hunker down, call for fire, and pulverize the grid square. (Ooooops, sorry, I forgot - that's what we used to be allowed to do!)

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

I only got 1, 3, 7, and 9. Three jumped out at me instantly. Nine had a shadow that sure looked like a gun barrel, though, and almost made me change my mind.

I think it would be hilarious if there were no snipers in any of the pics, just to see who is a BSer.

Heck, mine were all guesses except #3. I'd like to see this in video and see how movement would effect it. And add a spotter.

Besides the best weapon against a sniper is another sniper..... there are many things the average Joe would not think to look at when searching for a sniper.

Find the sniper 101. First, don't look for the sniper!
Look for what does not belong and then find out why it does not belong. Usually at that point you will spot the barrel and/or the scope. Too much burlap and man made crap gives almost all of them away.
What does not belong? Look for color changes, texture changes, horizontal in a vertical world. Forget shine, but also look at that symmetrical shape that does not belong. Those are called "Why things are seen" and are based o the visual target indicator. There are eight of them and they are siting, (something that does not belong and most of the others are a from of siting);shape, shadow, silhouette, color surface, spacing and movement.
You can discount movement. But al the others are there and gives each of the snipers away.

How not to be seen....
Sorry Sdiver. Don't mean to hijack your thread. By the way, I only found one. Although, if I were shooting my low yield, Uranium tipped, thermonuclear 7.62x51mm rounds, I could just saturate the area and I won't have to worry about getting hit. By the way, has anybody been following what PenCot is doing with their camo uniforms? http://soldiersystems.net/2013/11/06...lage-patterns/
