Electronic Based Distance Learning policy

Here's several references for the National Guard Soldier to get paid up to 12 RMP's every fiscal year or 1 RMP for 8 hours of distance learning while taking SSD or SMA DL. There's certain criteria that you can't collect RMP's for, ie doing DL while on orders and IDT status.

Each state has different requirements so check out what your state does. For example, CA requires a counseling statement and 4187 pior to starting EBDL.

a. Memorandum, Secretary of Defense, (P&R), 29 June 2008, subject Policy on Reserve Component (RC) Electronic Based Distributed Learning (DL) Compensation.

b. Army Directive 2010-06, Compensation of Reserve Component Personnel for Army Electronic-Based Distributed Learning, 2 June 2010.

c. Memorandum, Army DCS G-3/5/7 (DAMO-TRI), 9 July 2012, subject: Reserve Component Electronic Based-Distributed Learning Compensation.

d. Memorandum, Army DCS G-3/5/7 (DAMO-TRI), 19 November 2012, subject: Approved Course List and Implementation Guidance for Reserve Component Electronic-Based Distributed Learning (EBDL) Compensation.

e. Memorandum, ARNG-TRI, 18 April 2013, subject: Compensation for Successful Completion of Electronic Based-Distributed Learning (EBDL).

f. Memorandum, ARNG-TR, 20 November 2013, subject: Supplementary Guidance for Compensation for Successful Completion of Electronic Based-Distributed Learning (EBDL).
