Watch and compass.
Spare mags.
Cell phone as a nice to have/convenience item.

it's funny -
my EDC is usually a small benchmade, a cell phone and my M&P fullsize in 9mm. Unless of course I am in uniform....then I have to be unarmed. Go figure....
