America’s First Third-World State
I’m not in California but VDH has some credibility on the topic - he’s a native.
I’ve not pasted the articles below (available at links) but, they are worth a read. Perhaps the articles are harsh. But, even limited research will corroborate the conditions as described.
High taxes, open borders, generous welfare benefits, not properly dealing with our addicted or mentally ill nor enforcing simple 1st world sanitation and health codes...this how government policies help create “shit holes.”

Great article. Thanks for putting it up. I dont think it is restricted to th US. We have similar pockets of uselessness as have Europe.
Kinda enforces my dream of being totally off grid, hunting and gathering and tapping into technology in my own way.
Go well

THIRD WORLD STATUS !
The Ultra Liberal "Progressive" Left ARE driving the U S A toward Socialism & The decline of a once proud nation to a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY STATUS. The words of COL. ARTHUR Bull SIMONS; ""History teaches that when you become indifferent and loose the will to fight, Someone who has the will to fight will take over". These words are more important today because the main stream media is the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party that is seeking more power with the goal to destroy the orthodoxy of the U S CONSTITUTION and THE BILL OF RIGHTS.

I go to Los Angeles a few times a week in my employment and in my opinion it's worse than San Francisco, especially south central LA. It used to be mostly African American but many more people from Central America have came there over the years. It isn't turning into a third world country, driving through there is like being in a third world country. Spanish spoken only and displayed on signs, drug dealing and prostitution in broad daylight, people driving with no license plates, scores of homeless people wandering the streets, etc.
California used to be one of the best states in the nation but those days are long gone. The article is accurate. In a few more decades it's going to look like Mexico.

I have a fear,,
The reported "mass" movement of conservative and moderate peoples to more stable states will create problems in the next election.
The allocated electoral college votes are base on population numbers that are moving away from the leftest holes, but will not be reallocated for a couple of years.
The move means the left does not need as many dead people to win the election by popular vote.
The new receiving states will benefit from the new conservative voters but will lack enough electoral college votes to beat the bern or pocahaa$$ or even AOC.
Anyway,
thinking of moving,,
Change my mind

Lord, keep all Californians in California and if they attempt to enter Arizona smite them with hellfire (US ordinance) and brimstone.
Amen.

Amen! (I'm glad I made it here before all the smiting. )

Didn't realize it at the time but leaving in '69 has turned out to be the hindsight-prescient move of my life. The good memories I hold are of Cooper's "different country" and I hold them dear; it is a time whose description is reacted to with wonderment by those not around at the time. The rest I kicked to the curb, as they're on the path to full sovereignty as Kalizuela.

We need ordinance named brimstone! Perhaps rename the MOAB to "Brimstone".
Test both on the CA capital of Scrotumento.

I live in SoCal but stay away from downtown LA. The homeless population is growing because the democrats feed them. The homeless population is growing like tribbles.

Guess I'm going to have to get some armor because in a few years I'm going to retire somewhere on the east side of the Colorado River.

Unfortunately the Californians, Oregonians and assorted blue state migrants seem to want to export "what makes Los Angeles...Los Angeles" to Texas when they arrive. Strange how they cannot see the irony.

Austin plan to allow homeless camps faces backlash
Austin officials are facing a major backlash after a vote that would permit the city's homeless population to sleep or camp in any public area -- with few exceptions, such as City Hall.
Austin’s City Council repealed a homeless camping ban on June 20, meaning people may now sit, lie down and camp in most public places where they previously wouldn't have legally been able to. The change went into effect Monday.
Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said Friday that wide sidewalks, such as ones on Congress Avenue, are the likely places residents and business owners can expect to see a spike in loitering, KEYE reported.
HOMELESSNESS JUMPS 12 PERCENT ACROSS LOS ANGELES COUNTY DESPITE $619M IN SPENDING
“There may be opportunities now for individuals to erect a structure or a tent or some type of protection in spaces where before that would not have been allowed,” Manley said.
Assistant Austin Police Chief Justin Newsom said Monday that, as long as the people or structures aren’t “completely blocking the ability for people to pass” or present a “health or safety risk,” then they will be allowed to remain where they are, FOX7 reported.

The Texas State Congress should pull the city’s charter and disband the city’s government.
