Saw it yesterday.
All of his chanting Allah Akbar, and he still failed to accomplish his mission. Then he got caught.
Wonder if he reconsidered whether Allah really wanted him to kill that soldier or not?

Kudos to the kid for QUICKLY resuming an intimidating posture behind his weapon and not jumping around screaming like a little girl.
Good on him!

E Troop, 101st “Saber” Cavalry Division, attached to 3rd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment

Army Times writers
E Troop, 101st Cavalry is a New York National Guard unit. Its origins are in the 10th Regiment (New York State Militia), formed in 1860 and mustered into Federal service in 1862 as the 177th New York Volunteer Infantry. It was sent to New Orleans for occupation duty and later operations in Louisiana. It was mustered out when its 1 year term expired in 1863.
3rd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment is a Louisiana National Guard unit. Its origins are in the 2nd and 3rd Louisiana Volunteer Infantry, mustered into Confederate service in 1861. It fought for the duration, surrendering at Appomattox in April 1865.
I wonder if anyone noticed the irony of assigning cav scouts from a unit that fought against Louisianans to a battalion from Louisiana?

What is the meaning of what the sniper was chanting?
How did the sniper get injured?
>> After tracking down the now-wounded sniper with a team from B Company, 4th Battalion, 1st Iraqi Army Brigade, Tschiderer secured the terrorist with a pair of handcuffs and gave medical aid to the terrorist who’d tried to kill him just minutes before.
Damn tough medic.

"God is Great"
The asshats always do it before they try to KIA somebody. I think it is actually a little prayer that they don't kill themselves as much as anything else.

Apparently, they captured Mr. Hadji after he was WIA. Again, definitely not an 18D...

Take care.
