FWIW - all of these are legitimate companies who didn't spend quite enough time considering how their on-line name might appear! For example - is it 'who represents' or 'whore presents'?
They are not made up - although they could be - but check them out yourself!
And so it goes...
Richard
1. 'Who Represents' is where you can find the name of the agent that represents any celebrity. Their Web site is:
www.whorepresents.com
2. 'Experts Exchange' is a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views at:
www.expertsexchange.com
3. Looking for a great pen? Look no further than ' Pen Island .' It can be found at:
www.penisland.net
4. Need a therapist? Try 'Therapist Finder' at:
www.therapistfinder.com
5. Then there's the 'Italian Power Generator' company. Check it out at:
www.powergenitalia.com
6.'IP computer' software, there's always:
www.ipanywhere.com
7. And the designers at 'Speed of Art' await you at their wacky Web site:
www.speedofart.com

Typical - give a woman an island and she wants a whole land.
And that's all I'm going to say on the subject.

Funny stuff! All these years I've been shopping at Big Al's and I never even noticed. I went for the double VIP points on Wednesdays...really!

Well, if you look at it in the spirit of this thread, it's either pen island, penis land or pen is land. Take your pick.

I know the co-owners of the Harley-Davidson dealership and tour company in Guatemala. When they opened the dealership they wanted to have a business name that was memorable to the local people. They decided that in a Spanish speaking community the name "C.O. Jones" would be memorable enough.
Google "C.O. Jones Guatemala"
