They may have won the White House the last two times out, but it has “suffered devastating losses at all levels of government since 2008,” the report states. That includes 69 US House seats, 13 US Senate seats, 910 state legislative seats, 30 state legislative chambers, and 11 governorships.
“The circumstances that led to the series of devastating electoral losses did not develop overnight,” the task force found. “Instead they have been building over decades as the political system has been irrevocably changed by the passage of McCain-Feingold and the Citizens United decision. Republicans, in many cases, have been quick to respond to these changes and take advantage of this new moneyed and murky environment.”

It would appear that they don't even understand that their message has been rejected, but will continue in denial to blame it on the evil Republicans and their legislation.
The POTUS and DWS are absolutely tone deaf on this.
I hope they continue down this disconnected from reality path.

Forgetting the kerfuffle over McDonald (from which probably nothing will come of consequence) I'd rather see this made to percolate long enough such that she is guaranteed to be a 1-term/1-hit wonder. Also previously covered locally was that Rep. Ron Kind (D) (this is his district) had been aware of the report for many months but allegedly never received a copy of the report and "knows nut-ting." No journalist asked him, "Did you think to have your office follow up?"
This place now known as "Candy Land" and the Chief of Staff (and a prescribing Psych) known as "Candy Man" is 3 minutes away. An independent investigative report had been (miraculously) picked up by the local rag here some months back and it's now graduated to the national cable news.
Anything that helps this idiot out the door - since she checked alot of conscience-boxes for some of her supporters - is ok by me.
