@Guy, the answer to your question is no.
Respectfully, I don't think that the question is irrelevant to the issue at hand -- the debate over how war should be commemorated in the United States. To start setting criteria over who may or may not participate in this debate because of what religion they practice, their political views, or where they've lived, plays into the hands of the opposition.
