Phillipine Terrorist Leaders Killed

Three of the top terrorist leaders in the Phillipines were killed by an air strike. I got a kick out of the fact that the Filipino Air Force uses OV-10's as bombers...

Cool beans

ya beat me to it.

American counterterrorism troops have helped ill-equipped Filipino troops track Marwan for years using satellite and drone surveillance. About 600 U.S. special forces troops have been deployed in the southern Philippines since 2002, providing a crucial support for the Philippines' counterterrorism operations.

Wonder if they have identified the bodies..that's my big concern. That they escaped.

On that note, a whole bunch of these buggers were "arrested" by the Malaysian Police in Semporna/Tawau a month or so ago in a major sting-operation and a number of malaysians, indonesians and filipino's with dual citizenships were rounded up under the internal security act...not sure whats happened to them but...they are in Malaysia under lock and key.

There is a big market for light tactical air support.

I wish they would resurrect the A-10 manufacturing line.

It's a killa...

For a less developed nation, the Super Tucano is pretty nice.

No new A-10s unless you recreate Fairchild Aviation. And the AF is retiring them (and the C27s) as fast as they can get away with it.

The Nail FAC's used OV-10's out of NKP when I was in the 46th Co. They had 4 M60 MG's mounted in the belly and the pilots complained that they constantly jammed.

Someone in this damn admin likes Brazil as we are getting screwed badly. We gave them the money and more to develop their oil and sat on our ass and let China buy it. Now this. Obama apparently wants to destroy AMERICA and remold it a socialist state.
