If its been mentioned in this thread I missed it. One issue at hand when Hillary uses her "private" email is access. All .Gov business is to be conducted on .gov servers for a number of reasons. Among the leading reasons, the ability for the checks and balance apparatus and archive data to be stored and accessed so as to be visible to the appropriate parties. Hillary using a private server would at a minimum hinder and at worst prevent the "transparency" this administrationworks so hard to maintain.

Pay no attention to the fact that HRC was quite vocal in her disdain for OTHER politicians using "secret" e-mail. I believe she compared it to abusing the constitution
Isn't she just cuter than a button.......................

You mean like her former boss who used to say deficit spending was unconstitutional?

Who paid for the server and system administration:
DOS
or
tax write off for work related expenses on their 1040?
Either way, emails sent/received as a USG official belong to "we the people" and not Hillary (emails of a personal nature excepted). She clearly doesn't understand that based on her responses.
Here's an interesting article on Wired regarding the foreign intel aspect.

Wait a second.
The SECSTATE had neither a state.gov NOR a state.sgov email account for classified work???

Well now that its in the news we can at least assume that the POTUS is finally aware that this happened. After all, that's how he keeps track on what is going on in his administration - Chris Matthews or some other media huckster breaks the story so that the administration can stay informed.
...but it makes me wonder: are we to believe that HRC never once sent an e-mail to the POTUS or the staff during her entire tenure as SECSTATE ???
My boss doesn't know about EVERY e-mail I send, but if I send an NCOER to battalion and it has "@gmail.com" on it, then it is painfully obvious that it did NOT come from a 'dot-gov' account.
My god how fucking stupid can the American public be, for them to believe the lies that emanate from inside of Interstate-495 ???
...well, when we are busy with important things like trying to legalize cannabis at the federal level or race baiting the police, we simply don't have time to focus on frivolous issues like what e-mail server State department communications are sent through

A brief story, if I might.
There was a contractor I know working in USASOC headquarters at the time, by all accounts, doing a great job.
He saw something unclassified on the SIPR (classified net) that he wanted to send to some friends later.
He copied the info onto a CD, and put it into his NIPR (unclassified net) machine.
He then attached the file to an email to his home address.
In less than two hours, security was at his desk telling him to take no more than ten minutes and pack his personal items (no electronic media) and get out of the building. Fired and banished.
I heard that they also yanked his clearance over that, permanently. Never to work for the government again.
I have seen alleged murderers, rapists, and child molesters treated better.
How can you tell me a senior US government official did something similar and it was not known or detected?
For crissakes, how can you see an email and not notice it is not from an official account, just by the suffix?
Rules for thee, but not for me.
Must be nice to be above the law.

Here is how the Senior Advisor to the President and the White House Press Secretary would tell you a senior US government official broke policy with out anyone knowing......
When Valerie Jarrett was interviewed on Bloomberg TV she was asked if she ever received an email from Clinton – which would have appeared without the appropriate State.gov address — while the former secretary was part of the administration.
“I actually did not,” she said. “No, I did not receive an email from Hillary Clinton.”
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest indicated that President Obama probably found out about the Hillary Clinton email scandal from “the newspaper.” Earnest admitted he had “no idea” when Obama learned that Clinton was exclusively using a private email account based on a home server but that he “wouldn’t be surprised, however, if he had learned about that by reading the newspaper[/I].”[/I]
It would seem that Hillary Rodham Clinton spent her entire tenure as the Secretary of State operating 'sua sponte' with no accountability to the POTUS whatsoever.
...if only the rest of us had such a wide berth to operate in.
More disturbing is the fact that the POTUS has to get his updates on the inner working of the DOS by reading the newspaper since clearly HRC never sent anyone an e-mail letting them know what she was up to.
'Transparency' my big 'ole butt!

Double standard....
Quote:
While Hillary Clinton was using a private email address hosted on her own home-based computer server to conduct State Department business, her agency forced out an ambassador who was doing the same thing overseas.
Retired Air Force General Scott Gration was US ambassador to Kenya for 13 months between 2011 and 2012, departing after a scathing performance report blasted his leadership style and determined that he created security risks by running his own one-person IT department.
The report determined that Gration 'assumed charge of the mission’s information management operations,' in Nairobi, and 'ordered a commercial Internet connection installed in his embassy office bathroom so he could work there on a laptop not connected to the Department email system.'

"Mis-convenience"
Add this one to the growing list of misses... Misremember...misspoke...misconvenience...
It was just a matter of convenience. I'm sure we could use the same line, right?
