It's a funny one about BMW.

They've been pretty ugly over the years(personal opinion) but they have the odd one lately that is eye catching.

About a decade ago I did an offroad event with a bunch of BMWs in attendance and a few water crossings.

A BMW fell during a deeper water crossing(upstream thankfully) right in front of me. Helped get it up and out after being submerged about 20 or so seconds....started up and kept going like the energiser bunny....

"Who's the U boat commander" was referenced a few times that night.

I am trying to ride all of the top ones here in NM.
Thanks for the link, the Southern Appalachia Map looks interesting for sure.

Flagg, can I contact you by PM about some NZ t-shirts? I have just a few "exotic" ones from a friend in 'Straya and another friend who works at HD of Saigon/Vietnam. NZ is missing on my list.

Cheers!

Well finally got the new Bike. All I have to do now is get the add-ons and I will be ready for my long trips.....

Here she is when I got her off the road and on the dirt for the first time. Rides great but I do need to get 50-50 tires on her....

Oh, HELL yeah!

Agree, those tires don't look to have much serious sojourn in them, although they probably pick up the milk & bread just fine.

Congrats!
