O-ver indeed
Trump sworn in....
Listening to his speech it is apparent that he is not speaking to the audience immediately surrounding him.

Yup - pretty good remarks. (Body language of former protectees (plural) sitting in the vicinity & on camera was interesting, especially the former-thank-God FLOTUS.) IMO, he hit the bricks with what needed saying and, you're right, it was said knowing that such words carry way beyond our shores.

Pundit analysis commences. One very significant shift:
Quote:
Trump mentioned himself just three times in two sentences, while referring to “we” the American people 45 times
|
Daily Caller
and the three times he used reference to himself (The infamous "I")
“The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans.”
“I will fight for you with every breath in my body"
"I will never, ever let you down,”
Yeah, that's a change too.

A desk, and some pens, with some pall-bearers to carry away the dead legacy body of EO's. He should go backward from the last few days & kill the "policy" memo telling NSA they can collect anything/everything/anyone and share it, warrantless, with any/every agency, including the non-NOFORN sisters. He's gonna be up awhile; start now.

One of the parts I liked the most was watching Pelosi acting like they were long lost friends during the signing. She has no clue....

Pelosi apparently said something to President Trump about passing along the pens he was using to sign.
He should have handed her one and said, "Here Nancy, you can have this pen I used to sign the Executive Order eliminating federal funding to your district."

I had hoped that he'd end his speech with something like, "And finally, Mr. Obama, I thank you for your service and and am happy to say . . . you're fired!"

OUTSTANDING!!!
The speech given by Our New Commander-In-Chief had those around my camp hooting, hollering, and yelling at top volume in support. I raised the windows just in case a neighbor or two was sleeping. Lol.
The Reverend Grahm opened with a line saying that rain is God's blessing...and it started when President Trump began his speech, and ended as quickly.
Very cool, IMHO.

There isn't the least bit of doubt that the thought probably crossed his mind - at least once - during the speech writing.

Hope and Change has finally arrived. Little did we know or have the liberals understood what those words meant eight-years ago.
Nope, you didn't build this, we did. (Emphasis on "we")
Let the "carnage" begin!
