This image (attached) has been kicking around in the Twittersphere and liberal press....
Seems to me, the difference is due to the fact that those that voted for DJT are at WORK today.....
And then this little nugget:

Obama is now speaking at Joint Base Andrews
He says when he started on the journey he started with "an abiding faith in the American people" to join together and change the country.
He says the American people proved the "power of hope."

My whole office sat and watched it today. The two Hilbillary voters just sat in their chairs and sulked at their desk. It was a good morning..

Voted late in the day for the same reason.
Oops.

I liked the in-your-face-Obama speech (especially when Zero did the same to GW in 2009), but WTF was up with the guys in uniform walking up behind the new POTUS during his speech, standing there, then turning and walking away? Who the hell stage managed that visual???

I think it was about the time the rain started and they pulled them out.

It looked terrible. Imagine the left taking it out of context (shocker!) and using the clip to show the military turning their backs on President Trump. Plus it was just plain distracting at best. Not saying that was my take away from the whole day, but it stands out.
But Obama is gone. Let the repairs begin.

I heard someone say that they were trying to hand out rain gear without drawing attention. Just hearsay, though.

I hope those of you who had the day off, or at least TV access at work had the chance to channel surf during the inauguration today.
Dropping in on CNN and MSNBC was priceless! Watching them, okay mostly MSNBC, you'd think the president's speech was a declaration of war on the human race! Somehow they expected Trump to magically become not the person who ran and defeated Hillary. When the president delivered a vintage Trump speech they couldn't deal with it.
I grow more optimistic by the hour.

I'm stoked as he continues to break glaß. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan through the cycle but it's better than the alternative. I'm "in" so let's wreck some sh&%t

My impression as well. Wife had CNN on in the background later in the evening and, just guessing, it's possible they dialed it back a bit in the midst of their dossier-induced plunge to irrelevance alongside MSNBC (who are almost amusing to watch from a clinical perspective). They had a whole bunch of fashion ladies blabbing as if critiquing on a red carpet along with the "totally fabulous" Anderson Cooper. And of course FLOTUS looked, well, like she elegantly looks on a regular basis - so they really had not much to say other than her dress was, well, "conservative." As my wife pointed out, "she's a super-model, she sure the hell doesn't need their advice. She looks great in jeans & a sweatshirt." LOL
Interesting to have the inauguration fall on a Friday, because the remora in the press are used to having this as their dead-period of the news cycle. I have a feeling they'd better buckle up & pay some frickin' attention; their idea of a news cycle is about to be redefined.

If some of you remember, in the past when some presidents have had it start to rain on them, a uniformed lackey has been shuffled out to hold an umbrella for the POTUS. When these folks first came down the stairs you could see that there were a few umbrellas being carried.
I am sure there were some that thought for sure the new POTUS would act as though his marvelous hair would melt - but as everyone saw, the POTUS was at the mic' and 'in-charachter' as 'The Donald'. He didnt have time for an umbrella and in classic Bush fashion, 'Dubya' was more than happy to handle things on his own by wrestling with a poncho.
Dick Chaney was sporting a cowboy hat to keep his head dry and besides, if Darth Chaney didnt want to get wet, he would just use the force to redirect the rain onto the Clintons.
The awkward movement and uncomfortable looking retreat seemed like they had a sense of, "fuck-nobody wants us to hold umbrellas, WTF do we do know?"
...fuck
...fuck
...FUCK
Uhm...
..."about face"
..."forward, march"
...fuck fuck fuck
Of course, that's just the view from my foxhole, maybe I'm worng.

That other photo was probably taken after most had departed. Easy way to try to write another narrative. What a bunch of little bitchs they are.
