And NO, I didn't do it just to get the leather jacket.

I'm not - Need and excuse to send a donation into the Team House Fund each year, mail it with my dues. OK, I'm lazy about some things.
Joined the NRA as a Life member because you needed 5 years to vote. I bounced around and sometimes failed to get the dues in and had to start over, arrrrgghhhh. Now - no problems.

It's a good deal. I just took advantage of the recent opportunity to upgrade to Endowment. I don't always agree with their compromises but they are the 800 lb. gorilla and they have been getting better. Besides, I like their competition svcs. Peregrino

Also upgraded (endowment to patron) and have been a member since I was 18. Good opportunity for the troops.

That is our policy.” You ask; What is our aim? I can answer with one word: Victory—victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival.-Winston Churchill

NRA Life, SFA Life, HOG Life.
Considering a couple of others, but life grows shorter.
