COLORADO GUN CONTROL BILLS

I have been telling everyone I know to keep their eye on state legislatures. That is the most immediate threat to gun owners, not Obama and the feds.
Colorado now has a Democrat controlled House, Senate, and Governor and they are pushing hard to get these bills through.
Magpul might have to relocate if this crap is passed. Did I say might? They definitely will pull up stakes.

These people are a serious threat to our 2nd Amendment.
Uberjackass Michale Bloomberg is heavily involved in this effort. I guess he hasn't caused enough trouble in NY so he brought his checkbook to the heart of the west.

If it can happen here it can happen anywhere. The urban Interstate corridor is now full of liberals who don't know an AR from a pogo stick, but they know guns are bad and only cops and military need them. Idiots!

Magpul can afford to relocate. I can't.

Defective immigration policy. All the Californians who were upset at where their state was headed, came here and restarted the process about ten years ago. In that time they turned the major cities into sanctuary cities and now former conservative strongholds are now liberal heavy battleground counties.

That was a rhetorical question...I guess I should have used pink. I grew up in Boulder!

Bob, the Texas safe house is open for ya if you need a place to run to!

You can even look further back than ten years ago.

After the 94 Northridge earthquake, there was a large exodus from Cali to here. There were people from Cali calling my mother's office (she was a Dental Hygienist here in Denver) that very day asking for applications.

We've always used to 'sigh', shake our heads in wonderment and said "whatever" when it came to the liberalism up in Boulder, but now, it unfortunately has spread like a cancer throughout the rest of what once was, a very strong RED state.

I have been thinking it for awhile about moving to Texas, and it's looking better and better every day. Maybe by the end of the summer .....

For the record my wife is something I call "terminally Texan," it really is something of a life altering disease. She tried living in Fountain, CO for a while but wouldn't have it long term! After a few years (okay about 7) living overseas "we" are "back" in Texas! I must be doing okay...her Daddy aint kicked me out yet!

And of course, a true safe house is open to all the can pass the proper bona fides!

I will call again tomorrow. My reps are 2A supporters, but it does not hurt to call again.

I remember when I moved out here almost 21 years ago, there used to be signs all over the place in Ft Collins that read "Colorado Is Not California. And that's not a bad thing." Cars with Cali license plates used to get hell from the locals. If a cop pulled you over and asked why you failed to stop at the stop sign, you were screwed if you said "It was a 'California stop'".

I moved from Ohio and am glad I did.

Here's a letter that Magpul put on their facebook page.
If we leave, we take our jobs with us

Email to my District Senator

Sen. Hudak, please take a look at what one manufacture in OUR district is going to do if the legislature violates the US Bill of Rights and The Colorado Constitution.

Magpul, the maker of one of the most popular AR-15 magazines, the PMAG, along with other AR-15 accessories has posted an open letter to their customers and Colorado lawmakers.

The company basically says if CO passes a proposed law that would ban magazines over 10 rounds in capacity, they would be forced to move their operation to another state in order to stay in operation.

In doing so the company would be taking their tax dollars and hundreds if not thousands of jobs with them (once you take sub-contractors into account).

Your opponent will not have to bring out those tired limo ads anymore, they will be able to point out how you not only violated your oath, the Bill of Rights, and the State Constitution, but that you forced thousands of manufacturing jobs to leave the state. Manufacturing jobs!

Magpul’s Open Letter to CO Lawmakers – Pass Gun Control, We Leave & Take Our Jobs With Us

Western side would be really nice.
Eastern side ... as long as you've got your pockets full of rocks so you don't get blown away, wouldn't be bad either.

Here's hoping you get the western side of the state.
