18B?

Hey Guys, im 20 going into the service with an 18x soon, and i am not tryingo to get ahead of myself but i dont know what i should go with after i get in(18B/18A. etc) So i was wondering if anyone could give me some depth on what 18B does, i have read that they are the weapons seargent and know about that but what are the duties that are not all over google? Thanks, and i know i gotta get through basic, and infantry and phase I but if i didnt think i could i wouldnt be here in the first place.
