In all seriousness...

I have to wear a watch which displays the days of the week (Sat-Fri);

Your Monday is my Saturday. The Afghan Friday is our (CONUS folks) Sunday. However, some CONUS folks which are OCONUS still, observe Sunday CONUS or OCONUS thus, some offices are closed on Sunday and/or Friday depending on who's in command and whom 'Sunday', we're observing.

BLUF:

Monday-Thursday is the best time too get work done IF, you can remember those days!


I know this may sound like it doesn't make sense. However, trying to explain a "typical" workday in SF is what I just tried to do.

Looking back, I can't remember any team time where I thought "This is getting tedious."

Now that I think about it, every moment was either in preparation for another moment, or actively performing a task you had prepared for. Good times.

...and as I near retirement, I pause to remember that I was only as good as my last deployment, mission, briefing, etc.
