Another moronic gun-control argument

I keep reading this time and time again as a “gun-control” argument:

“The private ownership of guns (in America) is not going to protect you from the most powerful military in the world.”

Only an idiot would write the aforementioned sentence and only a fool would take on America’s military head to head. Unlike socialist/communist governments American gun owners have no fear of their military.

Hypothetically could the private gun owners of America stop the American military if needed?

The answer: Unequivocally, YES.

The United States military numbers less than 2 million and only about 10 percent of that 2 million are actual fighters. There’s about 323 million folks in the United States and close to 50 percent own guns legally and we own about 270-310 “million” guns. Let’s say just 100 million own the guns, each then becomes a ‘fighter” in our hypothetical war. I figure it would take about 24 hours for the “armed civilian” Americans to take every military base in the United States.

And the idiot would answer: “But, but, but the military has planes and tanks.” And the intelligent gun owner would answer, “yeah, and they have to come out sometime”.

The math is pretty simple.

That answered, the United States military is a tool employed by politicians.
American gun owners would not be pointing their guns at the US military but at those wielding that tool.

Have you ever heard of the United States military requesting the banning of civilian owned guns?

Have you ever heard of a politician asking for the banning of civilian owned guns?

Who do you think fears of American gun ownership?

19-year-old Gavrilo Princip knew that answer.

Sheep don’t have the brain capacity to think past the next blade of grass, let alone individually.

All those guns, tanks, planes, and ships are manned by American citizens or those wanting to be an American citizen. Not one of them I know now/knew then said they would stand against their fellow citizens. So the theory brought up by the libs is bunk.

Secondly, all those guns and their associated bullets and bombs are tightly controlled.

Eventually whatever food "they" have will run out and resupply of the bases will be required. Convoys of food trucks headed for military bases...sounds like prime targets to me.
How many military bases are setup to provide potable water long term? Or deal with sewage?

Well, there have been quite a few senior military officers who have expressed that civilians shouldn't have firearms. But those are probably the ones who will remain at their post and lead the remaining troops against American citizens.

And then there's the over 200,000 armed federal officers. What percentage of those will remain loyal to the swamp dwellers? They have a real problem because they live in neighborhoods, not bases with fences around them.

The United States was born from farmers and hunters and merchants (with guns) against the then most powerful military of the time.

In an early attempt at gun control, in April 1775, General Gage sent British troops looking for caches of arms and gunpowder allegedly hidden by colonists. The resulting battles of Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts, were famously recounted as the "shots heard 'round the world."

I'm sure that the colonists probably had thier doubts and I'm reasonably sure that the British troops were certain that they would prevail.

I have also heard it said that it would be too expensive for a government to take on millions of gun owners in the USA.

We are only one chain link fence and a sign saying don't climb over it between soldiers and the populous.
The military is not allowed to dig fortifications or damage tree's because of the erosion it would do to the environment.
lord help us if we dug a trench, burned some sewage, or disturbed a woodpecker. Every Commander would be relieved of Command.
