I can't think of a more fitting tribute to a man than to recognize that he was so willing to give his life to protect those he loved. My his wife find peace and may he and his children rest in eternal peace.

RIP

My God, that rips my heart open. I'm a father and can't imagine what was going through his mind other than doing absolutely everything necessary to save his little girls. I'll be praying for his family, friends and brotherhood for a longtime.

Incredibly tragic. So very sad. It hits us all right in the gut.

He died with great honor, a warrior to the end.

Prayers and deepest condolences for his surviving spouse and extended family as well as to 3rd SFG(A).

God Bless,Rest in Peace Chief with your two little ones.............

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Very sad, very sad indeed..... However,if this life is all there was, then we would have to believe that it's all over for them....... But,we know it isn't,and thats why we give out our prayers to his dear wife and family.......
