Kyuh, you'll be missed brother

This loss is particularly hard for me and the rest of those in the MID/S-2. Kyu and I met when we were at replacement together, he was coming from Corps and I was coming from DC.

He never complained, he was smiling and cracking jokes with the rest of us. He truly was a motivation to us. We got the call and just could not believe it. Just weeks earlier he was running around getting equipment ready after coming in from a few weeks out supporting ODA's. Even dirty and unkept, he projected a self confidence and still smiled.

Losing a fellow soldier is never easy, but losing one you know is a bit tough. We are all focused and determined to carry on like he would want us to. We will get the bastards, and they will pay.

To your children and wife, may you find peace, we'll see you when the rest of us get home, you are still family.

Get well Tony and Greg.

To the guys that tried to save Kyu, you did your best. You are the epitomy of Quiet Professionals, never quit, never falter.

Your work is done, rest easy brother.
