Welcome to Tyranny

When Harry Reid said "this isn't over" he meant it. This business at the Bundy Ranch has set many things in motion, including the FBI. Apparently the FBI is now going into gun shops and other locations of interest in the hopes that they can acquire intel on Americans who are purchasing guns. Notably with cash, or if they're talking about "big government" or people talking about being "sovereign citizens."

This feels a whole lot like persecution. Who know's maybe they'll shut down ProfessionalSoldiers.com for harboring Domestic Terrorist Sentiments, oh how ironic that would be.

A few years ago I wouldn't have made anything of it, but given the recent business with the Bundy's, Senators and the Left calling us Domestic Terrorists, and more and more states banning the use of "military style" weapons, it's a lot more worrisome.

Just to reiterate something I wrote in another thread. It's my belief that these weapon registration laws aren't there to actually get anyone to register. They know by now that most people won't. However they also make it illegal to *sell* these band weapons which is something no gun shop will get away with. This manipulates the market in such a way that producers can't afford to make guns that no one can buy therefor they have to shut down production of these weapons. At first that won't be true, but as more and more states adopt these laws then it would become a reality of economics. And if people start getting visits from the FBI every time they buy an AR15 folks might start buying "hunting rifles" ect... to avoid the suspicion that the FBI is creating. The list is ludicrous, but it serves many purposes.

EDIT:What the FBI considers "Sovereign Citizens" though their definition seems more akin to assholes who dislike even basic rules. http://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/pu...reign-citizens

Good point, Alex Jones is a professional agitator. Personally I can't much stand him but I think the list speaks for itself. Essentially, walking into a gun store makes you a suspicious person, buying a gun makes you a suspicious person ect... Though I'll be looking for...better sources

It gets worse...

Yes, it can get worse. This article from the New York Slimes unjustly points a finger at all - well, specifically white - veterans. (I did make some comments on this one.)

I'm always interested in folks viewpoints on the financial sector and seeing this caught my eye. I was surprised considering the topic at hand and thought why would that even be posted here? I wondered, why that company? In fact, who are they? So I did a quick google search - it took my about 5 minutes to stop laughing to post this. Thanks Richard for the laugh!

The first question I'd have in meeting Ms Belew is:

Does she have any close personal life-long relationships with any current serving or veteran members of the US military?

The use of the term glass ceiling may apply here…..I suspect there's a glass ceiling that separates her from active/veteran members of the US military….with her looking down through the glass at them.

-----

The second question I'd have for Ms Belew is:

Can she compare and contrast how the US Army found her racist/murderer examples Miller and Mcveigh UNSUITABLE BEFORE they committed their crimes, but how academia found Ayers, Dohrn, Boudin, and Seale SUITABLE AFTER they committed their crimes?

That would be interesting.

I'd agree completely with Belew……if Miller and Mcveigh were made professors at West Point after their crimes she would have a valid point.

To me, this stuff smells like IPB for one "caste"(liberal academics) to chip away at the most respected institution in the US(Military) to make it socially acceptable to break the contract with them with the payoff being the transfer of federal spending from the smaller veteran tribe to the larger welfare tribe fronted by the liberal academics.

Tribal cannibalism writ large.
