The illusion of security brought to you by the TSA, DHS, & local, state and federal law enforcement.
16 year old climbs San Jose International Airport fence, boards aircraft and fly's 5000 miles.
What if it had been a islamic terrorist that planted a bomb on the flight and climbed back over the fence? And that was an American International Airport, lots of TSA idiots walking around, lots of federal Customs Agents, bomb sniffing dogs, law enforcement everywhere there's hot coffee, just not outside WHERE THE PLANES ARE........
Let's spend another trillion dollars on "domestic security" or at least give the illusion of security, and promote those currently in charge of that airports security and ramp up the NSA and domestic "fusion centers" to watch/monitor for possible 16 year old runaways.
There's not a safe/secure airport in this country 'cept maybe Area 51.........

LOL!
I just refused to go through the full body x-ray in Atlanta. Took them almost 10mins to find a male to search me. Nothing but females in TSA uniforms.

On that note of security illusions...
Recently we had a string of random highway shootings in KC of which started in March. The authorities apprehended this person a few days after an elderly KKK/White Supremacist/Neo-Nazi from Missouri whacked 2 Methodists and 1 Catholic outside Jewish facilities.
Most of last week the news was focused on Frazier Glenn Miller and hate Crimes, whereas Mohammad Pedro Whitaker barely got a peep.
KCPD Police Chief Fortes comment about Mohammad......

Did you tell them you were in a rush and, just this once, would be willing to put up with a pat-down from a female agent (of your choosing due to the inconvenience)? 
And Kyobanim - if you can't find time for humor and a good laugh, pediatric oncology will crush you. I'm just happy I can share my "adult humor" with others who are old enough to appreciate it from time to time.
