Strange 3d Gp request, B/2/3

Hey gents. I was the 2d TSGT on 351 (93-96), or 3221 now days. When the 3d was just activating, getting our feet wet...

Anyone on 3221 have any of the old photo albums in the "annals" of 3221 history stuffed on a bookshelf in the tm room???

Many a photo of our escapades saving the world. Would love to see them again...

Thanks in advance....if not you, then can ya ask around???

Thanks much

Bob G

Hey, Bob, I think that is supposed to be "annals."

I think you have been looking in the wrong place.

Bob,
I have a bunch of slides, yes slides that Joe took when he got the new team camera and he had just got back from O&I. I also have a bunch of old prints including some Haiti stuff. I have been meaning to digitize some of that stuff for years but always put it off. Let me dig them out and see what I got. Please kick me in the ass if I procrastinate.

Wow, that's great Mike. Yeah, do what ya can. I was just sittin' artound one day "reminiscing" on the "good 'ol days".

We talk abt 3d GP escapades a lot at work, I work in close proximity with, Get this..lol Joe Register, Danny Banks, Bob Ferguson, Danny Averit (Co A), and Steve Anderson (Co A).

When GEN Fox was SWC CG, he got off the elevator one day and pretty much ran into me... Great surprise, we chatted, and I said, hey sir, come with me. When he saw all the 3d GP guys he loved it...

Bob,
That's awesome. I have dug out about half of the stuff I have. Looking for the best place to get it converted into digits. I will get you a copy. I hope to get it dropped off this weekend.

I always liked Dave Fox. When I went to selection he was going through as he was going to take over the company and had not been to it. Back then they had a rule that any cadre that had not been through selection had to do all the events with the studs before they could evaluate.

I was in the company with Steve and Danny. Danny was actually my team sergeant on 342 (back when we were satisfied with just three numbers). I'll see what I can find from the house...but I was never good about keeping pics.

Thanks. I'm waiting to see if a 3d GP'er show's up on the Echoe committee and he can escort me into the tm rm. I truly hope the pics didn't get lost in the move. We had several photo albums of our travels... Be a shame if they weren't still around...

You sure you were on the team Bob? I have been scanning old photos from Trade Winds 93. Joe seems to be quite the camera hog. You are about as rare as Bigfoot.
