And if it wasn't for all the people, helicopters and vehicles in the area, it would have been nice to be "lost" in a "jungle" in Hawaii!

Happy thought. Just turned 69 anniversary of 46 years. I m just glad to see the sun come up every morning and a cup of coffee in my hand.

My very good friend’s son just today got his first choice of platform to fly for the Navy...E2s !
The garage bar saw a few toasts.
He’s an incredible kid.

Thank you Badger.
His sister just completed her 2nd year at USNA and she signs her “2 for 7” documents next week. Essentially, memorializing her commitment for the next two years at the Academy and acknowledging her service obligation afterwards. Her parents will be there for the ceremony. Very proud. Hell, I’m very proud !
Those two young people provide hope and many a good discussion around the holiday dinner table - I’ll say it again - incredible kids !

Going to Europe for 15 days for a well deserved vacation. Leaving tomorrow. Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfurt, Heidelberg and Stuttgart. Going to visit my old stomping grounds.
