Just saying
I love history...

By the end of March, Hitler had succeeded in passing the “Enabling Law” which gave him the ability to create laws as he wished, with no requirement for consultation. Following this, the confiscation of weapons escalated. Municipal governments were informed that military weapons and ammunition had to be surrendered by the end of March. The Jews were targeted next, with a large raid in East Berlin on April 4, 1933. Jews were not forbidden to own firearms until 1938, but the raid led to confiscations and arrests. The 1928 Firearms Law was utilized to identify the so-called enemies of the state, locate them, interview them, and subsequently confiscate their weapons, thereby increasing Nazi control and eliminating private ownership of firearms from the majority of society

"Enabling Law" sounds awfully a lot like "Executive Order"

Those aren't echoes - those are real voices - it just seems like echoes because we are still getting used to them saying the quiet part out loud so often these days.
...but at least nobody's feelings are being hurt on social media.

Full out assault on the 2A from this administration.
Red Flag laws
Universal background checks
Banning suppressors
Banning High Cap magazines
Assault rifle ban
EOs
$5 BILLION toward anti gun protocol
nominating a anti gun ATF director (remember he said "No American need a assault rifle or Branch Davidians shot down two Blackhawks")
Packing the SCOTUS, cause kiddos didn't get their way
Extending time for delayed background checks (Charleston loophole)
Banning online ammunition sales
Increasing NFA taxes
Banning pistol braces
Banning "scary ghost guns"
No Amendment is absolute
I'm sure I left some infringements off this list.

The GUN Problem:
This should be a concern for the radical left democrats, and they will do their best to ELIMINATE the 2nd Amendment so that only The Communist/Socialist Democrat's have all the weapons under their control.

Oh. A Reminder.. https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketP...n%20Merits.pdf
FINALLY...
Respondents violated Petitioner’s Fourth Amendment rights when they seized him from his home, and then seized his guns from his bedroom and garage, all without a warrant.
The First Circuit held that Cady’s community caretaking exception—and that exception alone—justified Respondents’ actions. Pet. App. 11a, 30a, 37a. But that narrow exception to the warrant requirement applies only to automobiles,
and certainly does not extend to the home. See supra 14–16, 30–33. The First Circuit’s contrary conclusion is wrong.
CONCLUSION
The judgment below should be reversed
just saying ... will not happen to have warrantless gun searchs.

Came across this posted elsewhere. I just began reading it and it seems they are just going to make words mean something they're not. That's all the rage these days.
I'd say write your congress critter but don't expect it would do much good.

The model of infringement through deliberate regulatory manipulation is tried and tested.
As examples:
EPA
Department of Education
To Box's point elsewhere in this forum, the model is the General at War tends to stay at War...
The policy writing bureacrat will continue to write policy...

So, does that mean that criminals who obtain guns, etc. are exempt from the new world order? I guess they will be the only ones carrying weapons, because a criminal is well, a criminal. We live in a Clown World....

Define what you mean by "criminals"
The paradigm has shifted so "criminal" means different things to different people these days.

When the Feds get done with their "administrative rulemaking" I'll be a criminal on many levels. I'm probably in some pretty good company though.

Well correct, so I guess people who are "now" law abiding citizens when it comes to gun laws might be labeled as "criminals" in the near future. I was basically referring to those criminals like ummmm drug dealers, felons, gang members....you know, the low life of our society.

Oldie but still valid.

I guess that will be some of us soon enough. Me, I lost all of them when the boat capsized.
