SFC Johnny White

SFC Johnny White died Tuesday, October 17 at his home after a 3 year battle with glioblastoma. Johnny was an 18E in 3rd BN, 3rd SFG for close to 10 years. He was my teammate on 3335 from 2012-2014. Johnny was honestly one of the best men I met in SF. Not the most tactical or best SF guy by far but his faith and commitment in the Lord, his wife, and his teammates was unquestionable. Johnny would do literally anything for anyone on the team. He was diagnosed after our 2013 rotation and had left the team. He not only fought for 3 years but continued to serve on AD refusing to be med boarded. He worked in the 3rd GRP ASC until his health began to seriously decline. He also fulfilled his main goal while I knew him, to become a father, with the birth of his twins in December of 2015. RIP Johnny, you have left an impact on people that won't be forgotten.
