PBF, if you get bored during the upcoming presidential election season, let me know. I've got a sweet project for you.

I was the Echo on my team before I became the Fox and I personally tried to keep the guys away from field expedient antenna's, because in most cases they are just that. COAX is great in a pinch, but your looking at a -3db loss with the BNC couplers and on a 5W radio, that’s a loss of 3.5W's. Couple that with radiating a signal through a shielded coaxial cable and the performance of the radio is severely diminished. I have enough problems with the guys complaining about not making comms with the issued equipment, I don't need to compound my problems. Especially when the bullets start flying.

I will say: It is to wage war, by sea, land, and air with all our might and all our strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, What is our aim? I answer in one word: Victory Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival. Winston Churchill

Thats an understatement brother...

Even though I am not an Echo, I would like the .ppt to pass it on to my Echo's.

Thanks,

Crip
OK Crip. Perhaps you're right. How about, "As a very new 18E"? Hope you're well.
