SFA Chapter 31 Golf Tournament

Damned if I knew which thread to post this in.

Who: Billy M Smith, Chapter 31 SFA
What: Annual Golf Tournament
Where: Los Rios Country Club, Plano (just north of Dallas) Texas
When: May 16th, 2004
Why: Raise money for the Billy M Smith memorial scholarship.

Cost is $60/ head. Green fees, cart, BBQ dinner, door prizes.

Anyone in the Dallas area, or anyone who will be in AO during that time frame is invited.

This is our second tournament, last year went great and everyone had a great time.

POC is Charlie Barksdale (he said that OPSEC no longer applies since is 71, so I can use his name). PM me and I will hook you up.

Great group of guys turn out for this one. I will be in the foursome with Charlie and Jimmy Dean and yes we will win.

Mods, if it is ok, I will bump this once a week or so to get new sign-ups.

Well I didn't really expect that they would be any good at golf, but as you know, any SF tournament will include copious amounts of beer and THAT is something i know that they can handle!

Come on North Texas guys. Doesn't matter if you can play golf or not, get to hang out with some fun guys from the old days. Always a good drinkfest.

I do believe the Team Sergeant is a golfer, probably a pretty good one:

I'm much better at placing a 168gr. boat tail hollow point than a golf ball, but I do enjoy trying.
