46th SFCA

The war in SEA was fought from two fronts: RVN and Thailand. The 46th Special Forces Company operated out of Lopburi, Thailand. They were active in training the Thai SF Cadre , Border Patrol Police and other operations which were classified.

Though officially CoD 1st SFGA their name was changed and the first personnel deployed from the 7th SFGA at Ft. Bragg.

They were a perfect example of SF carrying their mission to the ultimate completion - unemployment. The Thai SF became totally capable of training their own and conducting their own operations. The Thai SF are indeed a feather in the SF Beret.
