Another painful reminder that loss sometimes teaches us the most important of lessons.

RIP Warriors, Vaya con Dios..

Thank you Richard.. It is good that we humans occasionally are prodded with the reality of how several small mistakes can turn into catastrophic failures.

That was a sad, painful day. Some of the bravest of the brave. Amazing men, amazing sacrifice, selflessly given.

God Bless,Rest in Peace Warriors...........

They were just simple soldiers and their ranks are growing thin....
But their presence should remind us; we may need their like again.......
For when countries are in conflict, then we find the soldier's part
Is to clean up all of the troubles that the politicians start.
If we cannot do them honor while their here to hear the praise.......
Then at least let's give them homage at the ending of their days.......

Perhaps just a simple headline in the paper that might say:
OUR COUNTRY IS IN MOURNING, FOR SOME SOLDIERS DIED TODAY..........(author unknown)

The passing of our soldiers often go unnoticed and unsung by most of the world, remembered only by family and friends. Wish it were not so. May they RIP, their familys will be in my thoughts and prayers........

Since it is the 18th anniversary of that tragic day, let me pay my respects to those 19 members of the special operations community who paid the highest price.

RIP American Warriors
