Can anyone here identify the brand of boots these two soldiers are wearing. http://news.soc.mil/releases/News%20...e/IMG_0793.jpg

because

I'm looking for a new pair and don't recognize these. They look like they could be fairly new to the market. Maybe even prototypes.

I would not be looking for boots based on seeing someone wearing them in a photo.

Personal recommendations from people who have worn them would be a better lead.

New is not always better.

Yep - and the cost seems pretty steep to me!

TR is right.

Newer is not better.

IMO no boot should be that expensive. Also no boot should be called a desert boot without specialised angles that do everything they can to not pick up stones.

I’m an Aussie and no one complains about their gear better than we do. We have valves that don’t work; not enough size varieties. But our boots never collect stones and cost about $70 less.

Altama Tan Vulcanized are my favourite compromise, since though they are not issued we are allowed to wear them and they cost about 50 bucks

My little opinion, could be wrong though
