Maryland's strict gun laws sure seem to be working, just like Chicago's

I bet Obama and family feel right at home. So how are the socialist gun laws working in Baltimore? Do the tourists get to choose the style of body armor while visiting the nations capital?

Democratic/ Progressive/ Socialism at work. Corrupt Baltimore cops and politicians getting what they deserve. Enjoy the bottom-feeding scum.

AN EPIDEMIC OF MURDER

BALTIMORE – An epidemic of murder that has gripped Baltimore in the month following the Freddie Gray riots is threatening to undo decades of rebirth in the city's popular downtown -- and in the process, wipe away tens of millions of tourist dollars.

“Sales are next to nothing,” said Kenneth Robinson, manager of the Fudgery, an iconic candy store tucked in the heart of the Inner Harbor.

Local merchants were just starting to see business bounce back after last month's riots. But a crime crisis has since gripped Baltimore, with police saying criminals have taken advantage of the situation to wreak havoc on Charm City.

Nine people were killed and nearly 30 wounded over the holiday weekend, about three weeks after the rioting. With 38 homicides so far in May, Baltimore is seeing its deadliest month since 1999. The number of killings this year is now at 111, compared with 211 for all of 2014.

Perhaps they have just extended the late term abortion parameters. See how easy it is to show no violent crime at all.

Funny you should bring that up. This happened on my way to work this morning:

While not out of the norm for DC usually, this is the most brazen I've seen. That location is right as you're entering DC from Maryland. Point Blank is probably getting a lot of .gov money right now.

As far as Baltimore is concerned, I go up there about every other weekend, and I can attest that the police presence has minimized dramatically. I also hear from reliable sources that work in that AO as officers, that the morale rate has bottomed out. This fact kind of confirms that:

black SUV! not road rage! Assassination it must be What does Alex Jones have to say?

"“Our officers tell me that when officers pull up, they have 30 to 50 people surrounding them at any time,” Batts said.

Batts provided more details at a City Council meeting Wednesday night, saying officers now fear getting arrested for making mistakes.

“What is happening, there is a lot of levels of confusion in the police organization. There are people who have pain, there are people who are hurt, there are people who are frustrated, there are people who are angry,” Batts said. “There are people, and they’ve said this to me, `If I get out of my car and make a stop for a reasonable suspicion that leads to probable cause but I make a mistake on it, will I be arrested?’ They pull up to a scene and another officer has done something that they don’t know, it may be illegal, will they be arrested for it? Those are things they are asking.”

The Baltimore Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 3 on Thursday posted a statement from President Gene Ryan on social media saying that the police are “under siege.”

“The criminals are taking advantage of the situation in Baltimore since the unrest,” Ryan wrote. “(Police) are more afraid of going to jail for doing their jobs properly than they are of getting shot on duty.”

Law of unintended consequences.
Perhaps Baltimore residents would learn bad is better than worse?

Out of the last 100 homicides, less than 10 are not African American. Perhaps those same residents who chant black lives matter can demonstrate they mean it

...oddly, in the ass backwards state of Arizona, with their lax open carry laws, they just had a protest that saw over 200 armed protesters show up outside a mosque. So, essentially people with guns protested the violence of Islam

No drugs stores got looted
No shoe stores got robbed
No businesses got burned down
NO ONE GOT SHOT

...people with guns protesting violence and no one got hurt?

Muslims protested a political newspaper by murdering a bunch of people
Muslims protested offensive cartoons by opening fire on people
Criminals routinely protest the police by rioting and setting shit on fire
Cities with the best gun laws have the highest crime rates
...people with guns protesting

all arguments are invalid until someone makes sense of this

Great post, but I would substitute "strictest" in lieu of "best"...

No argument from me. The only safety and liberty is be armed and know how to use them.

Richard Henry Lee: "To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them."
