I know of one knifemaker, who is also a former EOD marine, that makes these even though you don't see them on his website. If you're serious about presenting/owning a quality version I'd suggest you make a phone call to Les George and inquire about them.

For whatever it's worth, Boker makes a V-42 repro that's pretty decent for ~$75.

The Spartan/George v14 is an outstanding update of the v42 with modern materials, it costs a bit of coin, but, damn is it a fine piece of work... the EOD Marine guy didn't let the two SF guys make a lot of changes...

I remember that. It was on the road between Carrboro and Graham, hwy 54, the building was on the left as you go to Graham. They were associated with Adam and Eve. I think it was the same founder. I forgot about them. Can't remember the name of the business, B&B imports?
