Sergeant John R Jones
Sergeant John R. Jones, Special Forces, United States Army killed in action on June 5th, 1971 on Hill 950 (Hickory Hill) in Quang Tri Province, Republic of Vietnam was returned to the United States and buried with full Military Honors in Arlington National Cemetery on December 6th, 2012.

Thank You, Sgt. Jones, I was enroute CONUS, from 8th group, to be discharged from service when you died. The 40 years since have been amazing, I regret you did not have the opportunity to grow old and play with grandchildren. (Hand salute) Your service honors us.

SSG MARTIN ARBEIT
SSG Martin Arbeit Recon One-Zero at MACVSOG (CCN). Ran a tight team composed of SSG Sydney and 10 Rhade tribemen. His local troops were dedicated to him. His leadership was truly inspirational. Not only a combat leader, but went out of his way for the families of team.
We have been the poorer with his loss. Now, 43 years later, I still miss him. He will always be the 23 year old who was my friend. Rest in peace.
