I love all of these! I've heard two recently I want to share..
1. Parking lot of Harbor Freight, feller drives up to me and asks for money. He claims he was an 18D, dispatched a guy who killed his wife and daughter in a drunk driving accident and just got out of jail. Hard times right? I ask what part of the 18D course any PETA member would take issue with and he looked at me clueless. I kindly explained he was a liar in a not so nice way and he peeled out fast. LOL
2. Bouncer in a local Fay. Club. I strike up a conversation with him and he wasted no time in claiming a Ranger background. Cool Right? When I asked what phase of Ranger School he thought was the hardest he claimed the "Road marching phase....

"I passed the SFAS and went through my primary MOS and A-Team training at Bragg with my new MOS 18B. I attended Airborne and Air Assault training at Fort Campbell. I then attended B-Team training back at Bragg."
What a macaroon.

Richard,
Don't knock the guy; he obviously wasn't A team material, but still wanted to play for the B team.

My fav so far is a really fat guy wearing a Ranger tee shirt in a grocery store parking lot and I asked what Bat he was in, he fired back A company 2/75 or something like that. He asked me if I was a Ranger and I said "no I spent of my time in Special Forces". He said he was also a former 5th Group guy. I then asked what ODA? He replied (and I kid you not) "1st Platoon ODA."
I would have called him a liar but I was too afraid he would eat me. He had to be pushing 450lbs......

Just send the money to me, I'll disburse it for you.
