The knife looks better than the blade (SOG knife) we were issued in Vietnam!

TS its not like I'm going to tell them.

82ndtrooper it is the non-SF version.
That extra stuff is what we have to buy when the issued Tac Vest holds 4 mags and is 0 modular.

That's what I'm told GS. Besides the kit is borrowed so I can't be much of chooser. (Except the knife).

Not a Yarborough, but the civillian version the Green Beret. The picture is of the left side of the blade, where YARBOROUGH and the Serial Number appear.

I think I see a few square inches of open space you could fill with some other pouches or patches.

Ugh... good luck effecting a second story breach via building climbing techniques with that kit. For that matter sitting in a HMMV or IOV's; airborne ops or getting onto an airplane; fastroping or ladder climbing. And I'm gussing combat rolls just became a combat flop. But on the most basic of levels... how do ya take a leak?

To quote one of my most esteemed mentors "everyday is kit shake out".

Yeah I'm getting the same criticism from another board. Frankly I'm going in blind as to what I am doing and with whom. I will obviously take everyone's recommendation once in theater.
