My money says she will curve up the coast. Maybe into Virginia & Maryland, then offshore.

Yeah, started prepping yesterday. Will slowly add things until Thursday night.
The walking dead may notice Wednesday and put the mad rush on the stores that night.
Fill up the extra cars/trucks with the big tanks now. With "just in time" fuel deliveries all the folks running to top off their tanks on Thursday could empty the ground tanks - and with the storm coming in gas stations may be out until Sunday or Monday.
Plan for the worst - hope for the best.

PS: don't forget a case of oil. Most gen-sets need changing every 36+ hrs.

The area along the coast and inland for 30-50 miles is going to get pounded.
Hearing on FB the I95 is already a parking lot.

Lots of good advice on this forum. regardless of the track of this storm. (I think the hi-pressure system to the north is shoving it down the coast a bit & will help break it up to PITA level.) Regardless, besides drinking water (and getting it before the "walking dead" Pete mentioned), fill some outdoor trash barrels with non-potable in case the utils get preemptively cutoff for a bit. Flushing your toilet is a thing you want to be able to do.
