Gideon

I told a pastor friend of mine awhile back that I had read that SF traces its roots all the way back to Gideon in the Bible (not in the official lineage). I think I saw it in an old issue of Special Warfare magazine. At any rate, my friend asked if I could get ahold of the issue or anything that had that information. I have not been able to get my hands on the issue and the internet searches I ran came up with nothing. Just wondering if anybody here had that info or could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Back issues are accessible from the ASOCNet.
