As a matter of fact yes, yes I can.
Well, with compass, map & some winds aloft info.
This is interesting, thanks. I'm sure there will be some gnashing of teeth over this, besides the AOPA interest. (Great org but civvies need to remember that for the most part they are Secondary users of the GPS system.)

I'd be more worried about the cloud of fishermen sitting 10-30 miles out in their little boats suddenly not knowing which way is home..
