California woman faces backlash for having invasive bear killed

A single mother of three children has faced negative criticism from her community after she had a bear killed that had been breaking into her home.

Amazing she would get guff for this with 3 kids in the home and multiple break ins.

We live in a world where the priorities of some are so out of whack when it comes to animals. These people could care less if harm had come to this woman's family. The issue is that a poor bear was killed.

I'm surprised this is the first one. Back in the '50's, all the trouble bears from Yosemite and other parks were brought to Southern California and released into undeveloped areas. The problem is 60 years later, these areas are developed. The local TV stations regularly show videos of bears in pools and spas in peoples back yards. They think it is cute. They have no idea the damage even a small 200 pound bear is capable of doing...
