While I don't know the specifics on housing, just after my active duty time I took a job designing and implementing commercial interior upfits. My boss at the time looked into asbestos mitigation at Ft Bragg... based on his description there was a complex of trailers out in the country where many of the contracts were negotiated and awarded, apparently they also managed game lands. The combination was all part of the benefit package... that was a while back,
