ACU Pattern Gear

Diamondback Tactical has

Assault packs, molle gear, etc. all in ACU pattern.

Shooter,
Next time leave out the hyperlink. (Unless a Special Forces soldier on here has asked for that information, they can pay for their own advertising.)

apologies

sorry TS,

I was only surprised to see stuff made in the ACU pattern already. In my haste I simply failed to think about that. Please remove the thread if so inclined. My apologies.

There are several companies making the new ACU pattern field gear. I can think of three off the top of my head.

Yep, you are correct.

I was impressed by d back tacticals large selection (especially since the ACU pattern is kinda new), and the gear appears to be high quality.

Thats why I posted the link here. I've bought stuff from them this week. Immediately got an email back from an Ann Suarez, customer service has been very good so far.

Now I just need to sell my specialty defense RACK.

Please, feel free to share the info with everyone (without posting hyperlinks, obviously).

Razor:

Spec ops Brand
Camelbak
Tactical Tailor (coming soon)

Not sure of any others.

Propper is also making the uniforms in mil spec, Gen Jackson's in Fayetteville has racks full of them.

I'm sure the usual suspects like SDS and other big mills will be turning some out for contracts with Uncle Sugar soon enough.

Gotta love it when the military puts all it's eggs in one basket, most guys are still waiting for the "woodland version" to come out...they really hate me when I break it to them that this is a one size fits all pattern. It does make a great set of PJ's for one's girlfriend or wife, from a few feet away it looks like a really nice floral pattern.

dang

After looking over the uniform cut on the Crye website, I am disappointed that the army didnt choose that cut or design, whateve you want to call it.

I think from the photos that the multicam is better than the ACU pattern, but that train has left the station.

They could think of offering the ACU with the design features of the Crye fighting uniform. I like the moisture wick shirt with the uniform sleeves attached. That would be nice. Also the zipper in the ass end of the pants makes for easy download when in the field. wisecracks anticipated....no pun intended.
