Our package that we sent to The Fisher House in Fayetteville arrived safe and sound, with lots of chocolates and little toy stuffed animals!

My kids turned 18 and I do not have to give any more money to the Ex.

Another

I give my money to the kids now instead of the Ex so they really get it now

There _is_ a reason I wear low cut tops and short skirts in Auto Salvage/Boat salvage yards, when parts scrounging. A little harmless flirting never hurt anyone and makes someones day a little brighter.

Today

Had a great chat with GreenSalsa, great guy, and had plenty of time to run down to the beach to spend the afternoon with the family.

Walked in the door and asked D3, the 9 year old, if she wanted to go on a Secret Mission. She said yes so we took our leave of the others.

Drove over to Holden's Beach and spent the next 2 hours playing in the Ocean, just the two of us.

Came back to the Beach House, changed and went to the Mexican Eat Place in Shallotte.

After Supper she leaned up against me, looked up and said "Daddy, I had a great time today." That's my today's Happy Thought.

And still back in Fayetteville in time to feed the dogs.

I live in the United States of America with my family and my Special Forces brothers.

It doesn't get any better than that.

GB,

Heard about "The Fisher House" here on PS, from a QP! After that, I read the history and services they provide...and it is an incredible organization!

That and the wonderful folks at "Soldiers Angels" (again a charity brought to my attention by a QP here on PS,) are who we 'round here have supported over the last couple years!

Indeed, Happy Thoughts all around on these folks!
